"Writing is thinking"
Many teachers and philosophers believe the following: "Writing is thinking." I completely agree with this quote because it basically explains the main, fundamental aspect of writing in a simple and understandable manner. However, when analyzing this quote, how can we prove the quote is fact? In my opinion, this quote is true because writing is a form of art that allows one to express and illustrate their ideas; ideas derive from one's thoughts. Do you think writing novels, poems, and masterpieces are easily written? Well, for those talented authors and writers it might be second nature; but, for most people writing something of quality in a well organized manner with nice transitions takes some in depth thinking. I'm actually thinking right now, lol.
To put it plain and simple, what do all pieces of writing have in common? They were written by individuals who thought! So, is writing thinking? Of course it is. Even though everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I amazed that this quote is even questioned by some. I understand that this is a broad quote, but the facts are evident. In order express one's ideas, thoughts, feelings, or/and opinions in writing they first have to originate from one's mind. This is certainly true for me anyways. For example, I thought creating a non-profit organization wouldn’t be so difficult. Was I wrong? Yes. It is extremely hard. Not only do I have to understand all rules and regulations pertaining to non-profit organizations that were written by someone who thought those policies thoroughly through. I also have to think about all the rules and regulations that are going to be written in the by laws of the organization, which is going to be the key foundation towards the organization’s success.
“Writing is thinking.” What do you think?

I agree with your opening paragraph in that you are always thinking when you write so I also believe it's a true statement, because just like you said, I'm thinking right now about what I'm going to say in this comment lol.
I definitely agree with you, and it is interesting the way in which you explain yourself...because in reality...you are right!!! How can we write without thiking any thoughts at all what so ever? Writing is definitely thinking, and the more you write, the more ideas come to your mind, and the better you express yourself!
